This site www.addictionireland.net was created to make information available to interested individuals who wish to source evidence based research focusing on Drug Addiction & Social Justice. The focus of the research information is in the Irish context as much as is possible.
The site will also host reputable information from professionals in the field of Addiction & Social Justice that will compliment our information and cut down on the amount of time you spend searching the net for information.
All resources are available to be used however we do request that you reference the site and authors in any material you may produce.
Information on training available is contained on the site (services section sub page courses) with the organisations permission, all information is supplied in good faith.
Feedback is always welcome and will help us develop the site, all opionions are accepted however we request that you keep it clean (contact section).

A number of small parts of some research pieces were conducted during my work with the Community Addiction Training Centre (Urrus / BYAP), Ballymun. Urrus is a centre of excellence in community drug education providing courses ranging from Basic Drug Awareness Programmes right through to a University Level Diploma. The Ethos of Urrus is help people to become more effective in their response to substance misuse. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Urrus / BYAP for the opportunities they provided to me because without them you would not have this level of resource information available to you.
